Fujikura released “Speeder SLK” on April 2019 which is feathered “even if shaft length is 1 inch shorter, still stable for club balance.” Also more specialized for improving smash factor and controlling. Fortunately, Fujikura could have been acceptable by a wide range of players and add 40gram model on April 2020. Fujikura could archived to sell 13,075pcs as of the end of June this year and still it is continued the same situation.
SLK-Type D is developed for players who want to update more carry performance. Fujikura use material and technology such as high modulus carbon sheet at shaft tip section. It makes best performance not only for increasing club speed and stability at the impact but also the both of controlling from SLK and carry performance.
Product Specification
Metal Composite Technology *Same as the SLK
Fujikura’s proprietary Metal Composite Technology allows us to add additional weight to the shaft tip without increasing its stiffness or affecting the club’s balance point at a shorter length.
Multi-hoop plied structure *The SLK only applies at shaft butt section
Laminated full-length hoop layers on the inner and outer 90° layers enhance the overall strength of the shaft preventing ovalization creating solid stability.
Low Torque design*Additional technology for Type-D
Type-D is applied lower torque comparing to the SLK and the Evolution series plied with 90t High modulus carbon fiber and High Modulus carbon bias layers.
Torayca®T1100G Multi plied structure*New technology for Type-D
High module carbon T1100G is multi plied at shaft tip section for more shaft tip strength and stability.

SHAFT TIP TRIMMING
The following tip trimming instructions are suggestions only. We generally do not recommend tip trimming on a driver or 3 wood shafts based on the shaft composition and how tipping could affect performance. We recommend that you consult your custom fitter or club-builder for the best tip trimming suggestions based on your individual swing and desired results.
In general, tip trimming can be used to achieve a stiffer shaft profile, lower launch, and/or lower spin. Tip trimming 1“ is equivalent to one flex. For example, if you wanted to stiffen your S flex to an X flex then you would tip trim 1”. If you prefer to play shaft in between S and X flex, you would tip trim 1/2”.
