The Air Speeder unites stability and speed in an ultra-lightweight profile through Fujikura's use of proprietary materials and construction techniques. Air Speeder's unique lightweight design enhances swing speeds and ball speeds that generate more carry distance and longer drives. Air Speeder is offered in a range of flexes from R3 to S to accommodate a variety of swing speeds.

Air Speeder Technology

The Air Speeder is designed to have a smooth rigidity distribution from hand to tip and a narrower outer diameter on the proximal side so that the burden of turning back is less for low head speed golfers and it seems improper. Fujikura will.

1. Weight ratio of hoop layer UP, hoop layer suppressing crushing of multi-ply lamination is indispensable for thin lightweight shaft. By increasing the weight ratio of the hoop layer and stacking it on the inner layer of the shaft and the outer layer more than before, the strength of crushing and bending was improved.

2. Application of Straight Layered Nano Alloy Technology Combines Toray Nano Alloy Technology for the straight layer that affects bending strength. It achieved about 5% increase in bending strength and durability improvement

FEATURES & TECHNOLOGIES:

  • Ultra-lightweight Mid-High launch for more carry distance
  • Range of flexes from R3 to S to accommodate a variety of swing speeds
  • MCFC (Maximum Carbon Fiber Content)
  • Low resin content in the carbon fiber pre-preg)
  • Phantium Finish

SHAFT TIP TRIMMING

The following tip trimming instructions are suggestions only.  We generally do not recommend tip trimming on a driver or 3 wood shafts based on the shaft composition and how tipping could affect performance. We recommend that you consult your custom fitter or club-builder for the best tip trimming suggestions based on your individual swing and desired results.

In general, tip trimming can be used to achieve a stiffer shaft profile, lower launch, and/or lower spin. Tip trimming 1“is equivalent to one flex.  For example, if you wanted to stiffen your S flex to an X flex then you would tip trim 1”. If you prefer to play shaft in between S and X flex, you would tip trim 1/2”.
