Fujikura EXS line of shafts is an entirely new platform of shafts, not a remake of the previous Fit-on-Max line. The EXS incorporates three of Fujikura's new technologies into one shaft: ENSO, PHANTIUM paint and FLEX MAP. All of these together provide you with a great feeling and a great performing shaft at a fantastic price point. EXS employs a more scientific approach to pairing you with your ideal shaft. Consisting of three unique shaft spectrums, EXS shafts can be matched to every swing type. Through the use of Fujikura's proprietary Flex Map Technology, shafts are measured in multiple dimensions during pre and post-impact to ensure that the correct shaft is paired with the correct golfer. After all, your swing is as unique as your genetic code, and you deserve the shaft uniquely designed for it.

SHAFT TIP TRIMMING

The following tip trimming instructions are suggestions only.  We generally do not recommend tip trimming on a driver or 3 wood shafts based on the shaft composition and how tipping could affect performance. We recommend that you consult your custom fitter or club-builder for the best tip trimming suggestions based on your individual swing and desired results.

In general, tip trimming can be used to achieve a stiffer shaft profile, lower launch, and/or lower spin. Tip trimming 1?is equivalent to one flex.  For example, if you wanted to stiffen your S flex to an X flex then you would tip trim 1?. If you prefer to play shaft in between S and X flex, you would tip trim 1/2?.
